Power Towers Provide High Level Solutions in the Low Level Access Equipment Sector

Apr 26, 2016

Eazi Group is filling a niche market by supplying innovative equipment for low-level access needs across multiple industries, including construction, mining, warehousing, and maintenance. Reaching heights of up to five meters, this sector often encounters challenges with limited space and the need for regular adjustments. To meet these demands, Eazi Group has expanded its equipment range to include the versatile Power Towers machinery. According to Brett Fleming, CEO of Eazi Group, “**Low-level powered access provides an easier, simpler, more efficient, and safer way to work than manual ladders, steps, podiums, and small scaffolding.**”

Based in Midrand, Johannesburg, with 13 additional sites across South Africa, Eazi Group services the largest fleet of telehandlers and work-at-height equipment in Southern Africa. Their portfolio includes industry leaders like JLG, Magni, and Maeda, with the recent acquisition of Power Towers by JLG granting Eazi exclusive access to these innovative machines in Africa. Power Towers has established a strong presence in markets such as the UK, the Middle East, and parts of Europe, and Eazi is now set to introduce this technology to Africa, particularly for tasks like HVAC, fire systems, electrical work, and ceiling installations.

Power Towers’ product range includes both powered and manual machines designed to be efficient and cost-effective. Key models include the Nano, Pecolift, and Ecolift – the latter two requiring no power or batteries, which makes them environmentally friendly with minimal operational costs. The Nano SP models, which are self-propelled, are well-suited for tasks in confined spaces, while the push-around models are ideal for larger installations.

All Power Tower machinery is manufactured in the UK, embodying high safety standards and cutting-edge technology. “The Power Towers safety standard is unparalleled,” says Fleming. “These products are simple, easy to use, and contribute to significant labour savings. We’re confident that adding Power Towers to our offering will enhance the value we bring to clients across Africa in this specialised sector.”
