Eazi Access donates Linde H30 to Sol-Tech students
Various Eazi Access teams across South Africa came together in their respective areas to make a difference in nearby communities. From education to orphanages, animal shelters, and even a beach clean-up, the Eazi Access team dedicated their time and made various donations during Mandela Day 2023.
One notable donation involved Eazi Access donating a Linde H30 end-of-life unit to Sol-Tech, an accredited private vocational training college. Sol-Tech offers state-of-the-art facilities comparable to any similar institutions worldwide, including welding facilities, engine rebuild areas, electrical wiring stations, hydraulics labs, automation systems, and PLC controls. These facilities help develop young students into skilled tradespeople, providing them with nationally recognised, practical qualifications.
In March, Eazi Access joined Sol-Tech and Solidarity for a Trade Day—the first-ever event of its kind hosted by Sol-Tech, aimed at connecting customers, students, exhibitors, and tradespeople. Eazi Access was honoured to be one of the companies invited to participate in this inaugural event.
Eazi Access saw the Linde H30 donation as an opportunity to challenge students to learn about the end-cycle of machinery, finding root causes and solutions in real-world scenarios. Karl Thorington, Eazi Access Chief Business Development Officer, stated, “This is a smart initiative to get up-and-coming technicians to learn on our end-of-life fleet. We are excited about our partnership with Sol-Tech, and we are intentional about changing lives in the communities. Sol-Tech was very happy with the Linde H30 donation, and they were amazed at the good condition this unit was in, even after 26,000 hours.”
