Eazi Access Jo'Burg raises R60k
The Johannesburg team of South African sales and rental company Eazi Access has raised R60,000 (€3,000) for St Janes Chantel home for children, just in time to celebrate Mandela Day, with team members visiting several of the charities they support.
St Janes Chantel home – located north of Johannesburg – is a non-profit institution caring for HIV-positive and abandoned children. Many children arrive at the home undernourished and often traumatised. The home provides food, shelter, education, and basic medical care in a loving family environment, supporting children from six-month-old babies to teenagers up to 15 years old. The Eazi Access team was given a tour of the facility to learn more about the programmes and projects offered there.
Mandela Day is celebrated on July 18th, Nelson Mandela’s birthdate, in honour of all he achieved and everyone he inspired. He is quoted as saying: “It is in your hands, to make a better world for all who live in it.”
Tralone Lindiwe Khoza, Eazi Access’ communications manager, said: “Eazi Access celebrates its 21st birthday this year, and it is important to recognise that this milestone would not have been possible without the incredible communities within which we operate. We look forward to continuing to contribute to those in need.”
