Another 178 JLGs for Eazi Access
South African sales and rental company, Eazi Access, has placed an order for 178 JLG platforms in a deal worth $9 million. This order includes Africa’s first 150 ft 1500AJP articulated boom lift, which provides a working height of 48 metres, an outreach of 23.5 metres, and an up-and-over height of 18.4 metres. With a maximum capacity of 450kg, the 1500AJP also features a 2.4-metre articulating jib that allows 130 degrees of articulation and 125 degrees of horizontal rotation – 55 degrees to the right and 70 degrees to the left.
This latest order follows a $6.3 million purchase made in December for 100 units. The new machines will join Eazi Access’s sales inventory and rental fleet. Eazi Access represents JLG across Southern Africa and provides sales and rentals for aerial lifts, telehandlers, and spider cranes.
Brett Fleming, CEO of Eazi Access, commented: “We are committed to enhancing our customers’ experience through continuous product innovation. Our solutions for work-at-height and material handling support efficiencies, cost savings, productivity gains, and uphold high standards of safety. Investments in products like the 1500AJP will strengthen our fleet, helping us maintain our market-leading position.”
Jonathan Dawson of JLG added, “Having a partner like Eazi Access, who is committed to growth and takes a leadership role in Southern Africa, is fantastic for JLG. These investments reinforce their commitment to fleet renewal and expansion in the region.” The units will be delivered to South Africa in phases, with the first shipments having recently arrived.
