Magni has just delivered two HTH telehandlers for mining in South Africa.
Two Magni HTHs have now joined the Eazi Access fleet, enhancing the company’s ability to meet the diverse needs of the local market in South Africa. As a major Magni customer, Eazi Access provides comprehensive work-at-height and material handling solutions that include rental, sales, maintenance, and training.
The first machine delivered, an HTH 20.10, was sold to Mynbou Rigs, a company operating in a coal mine in Mpumalanga. Equipped with a tire clamp accessory, the HTH 20.10 will primarily be used to handle the 57” (145 cm) tires for a fleet of Belaz dumpers.
The second machine, an HTH 10.10, will be added to the Eazi Access rental fleet. These heavy-duty telehandlers are favoured by companies working in various mines across the North Cape, where they are also used for assembling or rebuilding equipment.
Gerhard Kloppers, Business Development Manager at Eazi Access, explained, “Magni HTH machines can handle extremely heavy loads with the utmost precision and safety. Inserting a tire into the rim of a dumper, for example, demands maximum load control.”
Magni offers a wide range of accessories for mines and quarries to ensure flexibility. These accessories enable the handling of different materials, such as tires, cylinders, and steel coils. Magni HTH telehandlers are also designed for extreme conditions, featuring four-wheel drive and steering for maximum grip on rough terrain, and their high ground clearance makes them suitable and safe even in challenging environments.
